龙老火山锥是济州岛众多寄生火山之一，也是复杂火山系统的典型例子。该锥体由火山岩和土壤的混合物组成，与其他矿石相比，它是最近形成的。当主火山的岩浆从周围地区的薄弱点渗出时，就形成了火山锥，可以被视为小火山。 Yongnunioreum 覆盖着茂密的草丛，是许多野花的家园。锥体的名字来源于它的形状像一条躺下的龙。
