飞扬岛的意思是“飞越”，是济州岛最后形成的火山岛（1002年）。它保留了寄生火山的原始形态，位于未受污染的海域中心，拥有丰富的渔场，鱼类种类繁多。岛上有许多自然景观，包括泌阳峰，它有六座神秘的山峰、两个火山口和一块形状像妈妈背着孩子的岩石。岛上有许多步行道可以观赏这些景点等。
