与高句丽和新罗不同，百济佛教的起源和传播方式除了印度僧人米兰南达如何来到灵光并创建佛甲寺的故事之外一直是个谜。 1998年，据记载，米拉南塔和尚经过中国东津，于公元384年首次踏足灵光法城面左渡村。随后，该遗址成为纪念这位僧侣和传播佛教的景点。
