黄梅山位于陕川市嘉会面和大屏面的交界处，自古以来就被认为是陕川的守护山，但很少在徒步旅行或旅游出版物中出现。得益于此，山上的自然环境一直保持着原始状态。 1983年，该山被指定为县立公园，现在与伽倻山一起被视为陕川市的主要山脉之一。黄梅山是太白山脉最后的山峰之一，海拔1,113米。松树和杜鹃花装饰着落基山。从山顶可以眺望陕川湖、智异山、德裕山、伽倻山等山脉。
