1985年，由于土地开发工程，这里出土了大量文物。工程暂停，文物由清州大学博物馆挖掘。兴德寺的时间和大小
寺庙不详，但据《直指》（Buljojikjisimcheyojeol，世界上现存最古老的活字金属活字印刷书籍）记载， 宇王三年（1377年）出土的书籍是在寺庙里用金属活字印刷的。这些书籍的出版比古腾堡的发明早了 78 年。 1972 年，《直指》在国际图书年期间被正式认定为世界上最古老的活字印刷书籍。 Buljojikjisimcheyojeol 是 目前保存于法国国家图书馆。 |
