赤明子山是天主教徒的圣地，也是全州东南部著名的朝圣胜地。该地区坐落在寒碧堂后面的 Seungamsan 山陡峭的山脊上，是著名天主教夫妇 Yu Jung-cheol (John) 和 Yi Sun-I (Rugalda) 的最后安息地，他们发誓永远保持童贞。这对夫妇的坟墓上有一块“奇迹石”，这是一块自然形成的岩石，据说形状像耶稣和圣母玛利亚。这里还有一座 4 米高的石十字架，从远处的寒碧堂都可以看到。
名为“各各他十字架之路”的200米祈祷徒步路线是山区天主教徒最受欢迎的朝圣路线之一。从停车场和蒙马特广场（休息处）开始，通往山顶的整条小路都开满了鲜花，使祈祷步道成为散步和安静冥想的理想场所。 |
