处容岩是一座非常小的岩石岛，位于蔚山南区黄城洞新竹村前面的开云浦湾中部。
这是一座历史悠久的小岛，与著名的处容民间故事有关。这个故事讲述的是新罗王国末期（公元前 57 年 - 公元 935 年），一条龙和他的七个儿子从东海出现。龙的儿子之一名叫处容来到京城，娶了一位美丽的女子。一天晚上，他发现一个邪灵想要攻击他的妻子，于是他又唱又跳，邪灵现身跪下道歉。从此，人们就用处容的形象来驱邪。 据说处容表演的舞蹈被称为处容舞，已被指定为重要无形文化财产。处容岩是传说中的龙出现的圣岩。附近有许多景点，包括木岛（天然纪念物第 65 号），这里一年四季绿意盎然。 |
