해발 1,200m의 청태산은 식재된 나무와 자생하는 나무가 조화롭게 자라는 산으로 울창한 숲이 조성되어 산림생물들의 서식지가 되고 있다. 여름에는 동해안으로 향하는 피서객이 잠시 머물기에 편리한 숲이 있으며, 산림교육관에서는 어린이와 어른 모두가 지역생태를 재미있게 배울 수 있습니다.
