삼팔교에서 도마치계곡 3㎞를 올라가면 용소폭포가 용소못으로 유유히 흘러든다. 물은 성룡산, 도마치령, 신로령, 해발 1,000m 국망봉 등 험준한 산을 통과하는 도마천에서 발원한다. 폭포는 주변 풍경과 눈에 띄는 조화를 이루고 있습니다. 용소폭포는 바위로 둘러싸인 맑고 푸른 연못에 고인다. 가을에는 연못 주변의 단풍과 어우러져 아름다움을 더해 등산객들에게 인기 있는 포토 스팟이다.
