마래산(해발 385.2m) 기슭에 자리잡은 충민사(사적 제381호)는 이시언(미상~1624)이 창건하고, 임진왜란(1556~1618) 이후 이항복(1556~1618)이 명하여 창건한 사찰이다. 임진왜란) 선조(1601)의 명령에 따른 것이다. 1919년 일제에 의해 강제로 철거됐고, 2개 구역만 남았다. 1947년에 결국 지역 주민들에 의해 재건되었습니다. 1993년 6월 1일 사적 제381호로 지정되었다.
* 충민사 하마비(석상) 충민사 입구에는 높이 1.4m×가로 42cm, 두께 10cm의 하마비(석상)가 세워져 있는데 돌에는 '존경을 표한다'는 뜻의 '하마비'라는 글자가 새겨져 있다. , 그리고 궁궐 앞에는 성현들의 발상지인 유교 사당이 있어 사찰의 의미를 상징한다. 이 돌은 원래 100m 떨어진 곳에 있었는데 우회도로가 생기면서 현재 자리로 옮겨졌다. |
