청계산은 서울대공원, 서울랜드, 과천 국립현대미술관을 둘러싸고 있다. 서울 양재동과 성남시 과천시, 경기도 의왕시 일대를 경계로 하며 과천시내 남쪽의 관악산 옆에 위치하고 있다. 이 산은 조선 건국 이후 고려의 충신인 조윤이 살았던 곳이라고 전해진다. 또 청룡이 승천한 산이라 청룡산이라는 별명이 붙었다는 설도 있다.
산 속에는 울창한 숲과 깔끔한 계곡, 공원, 사찰 등이 있어 가족단위 나들이 장소로 적합하다. 다양한 난이도의 걷기 코스도 많이 있습니다. |
