청옥산(1,276m)은 태백산 망경대 남동쪽에 위치해 있다. 산행코스는 소천면 느째고개에서 산 능선을 따라, 사명대사가 수행을 했다고 전해지는 홍제사를 지나 구불구불하게 이어진다.
