大邱樹木園は、古い衛生埋立地の跡地に位置しています。この地域の修復は 1996 年から 2002 年 5 月の開園まで、多くの段階を経ました。21 の庭園には、巨大なサボテン、花、薬草、樹木など数千種以上の植物が生い茂っています。樹木園は大邱市民の生態教育センターと休憩所の役割を果たしています。夏休みには学生や幼児向けのエコロジー体験プログラムを定期的に開催しています。近くの観光スポットには、アプ山公園、頭流公園、八公山、飛雪山などがあります。
