新仏山のふもとにある新仏山滝国立休養林は、嶺南アルプスと周囲の美しい渓谷で有名です。森林の名所として特に有名なのは、山の渓谷と滝です。パラソポクポ滝は、絵のように流れ落ちる滝です。滝の近くには古い仏教寺院と新仏山のススキ畑があります。森林内には、散策路、健康研修施設、森林展示場のほか、キャビンハウス、森林レクリエーションセンター、キャンプデッキ、キャンプ場などの宿泊施設があります。
