内院庵は蔚山の大雲山にあります。かつてこの庵の総本山であった大院寺が境内の入口にあったが、現在は遺跡のみが残っている。庵の周りの渓谷は水がきれいなことで有名です。庵の敷地内にある樹齢500年のイラクサの木が象に似ているので目を引きます。蔚山市の僧侶による毎年恒例の音楽コンサートが内院岩庵で開催されます。
