The National Folk Museum is located within Gyeongbokgung Palace and is the only national/comprehensive museum related to folk life history in Korea, exhibiting over 4,000 pieces of folk materials related to Korea's traditional lifestyle. It is a cultural education site where national pride can be awakened through correct awareness of traditional culture through research, collection, and preservation of folk culture, cultural education, and lifestyle culture exhibitions. It is a cultural hall where tradition and modernity blend together. There are three permanent exhibition rooms and two special exhibition rooms, and you can use facilities such as a data room and museum shop, and participate in various cultural education programs and events.
