GYEONGSANGBUK-DO WEATHER
Bibongsan Mountain, also known as Jamisan Mountain, is a famous mountain. Before the Goryeo Dynasty, it was also called Taehaengsan Mountain or Daehangsan Mountain. There is a legend that Gyeon Hwon built a castle here and stayed here during the Three Kingdoms period. If you look at this mountain from the east, it looks like a peak sitting with its wings spread out. If you look at it from the south, it looks like a general standing wearing a helmet. If you look across it from the north, it looks like a courageous general looking at Oknyebong Peak. Looking across from the north, it looks like a courageous general looking at Oknyebong Peak. At the foot of the northern mountain, the Nakdonggang River, which forms the border with Jibo-myeon, Yecheon-gun, lies across like white silk, and the wide plains in all directions and famous mountains such as Hakgasan Mountain, Palgongsan Mountain, Bohyeonsan Mountain, Gapjangsan Mountain, Noaksan Mountain, and Songnisan Mountain can be seen at a glance.
Below the mountainside is the Goryeo Dynasty. Daegoksa Temple is located here, founded by Zen Master Jigong and Master Naong in the 17th year of King Gongmin (1368).
