Acha Mountain, which straddles Seoul and Guri-si, is a famous spot where you can enjoy the cityscape harmonized with the Han River. If you climb the 40-minute hiking trail, it features a 360-degree panoramic view of Jamsil, Namsan, Bukhansan, and Dobongsan, which can be seen from the top. In addition, it is a low mountain with an altitude of 295.7m and the mountain slope is not steep, so it is a place where Guri and nearby citizens often visit for light hiking. It is presumed that during the Joseon Dynasty, the entire area, including the current Bonghwa Mountain, the Manguri Cemetery area, and Yongmabong Peak, was called Acha Mountain. During the Three Kingdoms period, when the capital of Baekje was located in the Han River basin, due to its towering topographical characteristics, the Baekje people made efforts to block Goguryeo's southward advance by building a fortress by cutting the soil on Mt. Acha and building it back up with stones and soil. Along with the Pungnap-dong Toseong to the south across the Han River, it is an important military base that influenced the fate of Baekje. It is also called Adanseong (阿旦城), Achaseong (阿且城), Janghaseong (阿且城), Janghaseong (阿且城), and Gwangjangseong (阿且城)), which suggests that Baekje, Silla, and Goguryeo engaged in a long-term offensive and defense battle centered on the Han River.
