The National Jecheon Healing Forest is an organization affiliated with the Korea Forest Welfare Agency under the Korea Forest Service and was established to contribute to improving people's health and quality of life by providing forest welfare services. It has an area of ​​61.3ha (healing center 494.82㎡) and a total operating staff of 494.82㎡. It consists of 8 people (1 center director, 4 forest healing, 3 operational support).

The main history is that it was created over a period of three years from September 2016 to May 2019 after the signing of the Healing Forest Creation Business Agreement between the Korea Forest Service and the National Police Agency in April 2015.

In October 2019, the organization was formed and a pilot operation of the forest healing program was held, and the opening ceremony of the Jecheon Healing Forest was held in November 2020, and customized forest welfare services are provided to general and group customers.
