Internationally, it is highly regarded for its functions and achievements in protecting wild animals, and is the only one in Korea to be granted full membership status in ISIS (International System for Conservation of Species) and IUDZG-WZO (World Zoo Organization).

Seoul Grand Park Botanical Garden, opened in 1985, is located at the foot of Cheonggyesan Mountain, surrounded by dense forests, and in June 2015, it became the first public arboretum as a Seoul city institution. The main facilities include a greenhouse botanical garden, a herbarium exhibition facility, and a theme garden. The plants held include 41,989 plants of a total of 1,262 species, including foliage plants, cacti, succulents, insectivorous plants, ferns, and roses. Greenhouse Botanical Garden Tropical and subtropical plants are collected and there are many rare plants. Plant specimens and photos are displayed in the herbarium exhibition room, and roses and wild flowers are planted in the theme garden. [Seoul Grand Park Healing Forest]
Seoul Grand Park Healing Forest is located in the area of ​​Cheonggyesan Mountain (Makgye-dong, Gwacheon-si) surrounding the outskirts of the park. It was restored after 10 families who lived here when the grand park was created in 1984 were relocated and closed, providing a natural environment that cannot be found near Seoul. It is a forest with a well-preserved environment. Currently, a forest healing program is operated from the end of April to the end of November every year (closed in winter), and the main facilities include a healing forest path, water, wind, and sunlight healing center, scent garden, forest plaza, and visitor center. etc.

[Forest Bathing Area]
The forest bathing area located in the mountains outside Seoul Zoo won the ‘Beautiful Forest Path’ category at the 8th National Beautiful Forest Competition. It is an optimal natural learning space where 470 species of plants, including pine trees, pear trees, ginger trees, and Quercus trees, as well as squirrels, hares, weasels, and raccoons live in harmony along the forest path. It has a total length of 8km (main line 6.9km, branch line 1.1km) and consists of 4 sections (behind the Australian Pavilion, South America Passage, Reservoir Byway, and Maengsusa Byway), depending on the course, which can be as short as 30 minutes or as long as 3 hours. You can enjoy forest bathing. With 11 themed courses, including the Forest with Fairy Pond and the Forest of Sagwim, as well as uphill, downhill, and flat paths on the midslope of Cheonggyesan Mountain, it is a popular place for those who want to enjoy forest bathing near Seoul. Especially near the 'Thinking Forest'. There is a 450m section where you can walk barefoot, making it a healing space where you can walk barefoot on the dirt, and is loved by many people.

[Seoul Grand Park Camping Site] < /strong>
Seoul Grand Park Campground, which opened in November 1986, is located in the clear valley water and dense forests of Cheonggyesan Mountain and is a natural space where you can enjoy camping, cooking, recreation, and picnics. Main facilities include a camping site (150 buildings, daily capacity of 1,500 people), a volleyball court, a basketball court, a store, showers, and a parking lot. It is operated every year from March to November, excluding the cold weather.
