Red Oreum Natural Recreation Forest is a pristine recreational forest that has not damaged nature at all and is located along Namjo-ro at the border between Seogwipo and Jeju-si.
In a vast area of ​​190ha in total, 40-50 year old pine and cedar trees are located to the left of the lodging building. It is located on the right side, and Gotjawal, a broadleaf forest including ferns, is widely distributed behind the lodging building. In addition, in the outskirts, there are various types of trees such as roe deer, pheasant, boksucho, maple tree, mulberry tree, and Japanese oak. Plants are distributed.

Halla Mountain's shiitake mushroom and honey production areas are scattered throughout the area, making it ideal as a natural tourist destination. The typical panoramic view of the mid-mountainous area of ​​Jeju Island and the unique scenery combine to make it feel like everyone's hometown. It is a place that can provide peace and warmth as well as coziness. Nearby are Red Oreum, Mulcha Oreum, Gamgigae Oreum, and Saryeoni Forest Road. The main access road is Local Road 1118 (Namjo-ro), and the state-supported area is located in the north. There is local road No. 97 (Beonyeong-ro), local road No. 1112 (Bijarim-ro), and Jungsangan Road No. 1116 to the south.

With the same access road as above, it is about 40 minutes from Jeju City and about 45 minutes from Seogwipo City. It takes about an hour from the west of Jeju Island, so it is easily accessible from all parts of Jeju Island. In addition, nationally famous tourist attractions such as Seongsan Ilchulbong, Manjanggul Cave, Bijarim Forest, Stone Culture Park, Seongeup Folk Village, and Samdasoo Production Factory are located in the nearby area. The recreation forest is equipped with a variety of facilities, including a forest house, a forest culture and recreation center, an ecological pond, a forest bathing area, a lawn plaza, a seminar room, a visitor center, a walking trail where you can walk barefoot, and a palm tree mat trail.
