It is a beach located north of Daejin Port, the northernmost port on the East Coast. The white sand beach is 350m long and 10,578m² (approximately 3,200 pyeong) wide, with white, fine sand, clear water, and shallow water (average 1.3m). In Daejin 5-ri, south of Daejin Port, there is a small simple beach with a white sand beach of 150m in length and 4,628m2 (approximately 1,400 pyeong) in width. Since this is also a military facility protection area, it is opened in accordance with the beach opening period in consultation with the military unit in charge. The two beaches of Daejin-ri are located on the road to and from the Goseong Unification Observatory, so they are quite frequented by tourists. Additionally, since it is adjacent to Daejin Port, you can taste fresh raw fish and enjoy sea fishing.
