Biseondae is a large rock formation in the Cheonbuldong Valley of Seoraksan Mountain. Combined with the huge rock wall surrounding it, it creates a mysterious atmosphere. When it rains, the water flowing through the bedrock forms a small waterfall, creating an even more mysterious scenery. The flowing stream of water is considered to be as spectacular as Manpok-dong on Mt. Geumgang. The scenery that changes depending on the season is also spectacular. In spring, the flowers in full bloom here and there show off their beauty, in summer, the green scenery adds a refreshing feeling, and in fall, the surroundings are colored with colorful autumn leaves. In winter, everything turns pure white, making you feel like you have stepped into the world of immortals. Perhaps because of this mysterious scenery, there is a legend that a immortal named Magoseon roamed around Biseondae and ascended to heaven. It is said that the name Biseondae (飛仙臺) also originated here.
