Dutasan Mountain (Parkjisan) Natural Recreation Forest is a mountain-type natural recreation forest located at the foot of Dutasan Mountain, 1357.0m above sea level, on the border of Jinbu-myeon and Jeongseon-gun, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do. It is rich in tourist resources and is located 20 minutes away from Jinbu IC, on route 59 between Jinbu and Jeongseon. It borders the national highway and is located on the west side of the Taebaek Mountains. It is located in a clean valley and the central axis of the leisure industry, with clear water like chalcedony flowing down from Odaesan Mountain. Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do is an area that maintains the atmosphere and spirit of a mountain village with the cultural heritage Woljeongsa Temple, which was formed around Odaesan Mountain in the Yeongseo region, and the famous mountains of Nodong Valley, Singi Valley, Suhang Valley, Makdong Valley, Jangjeon Valley, and Bongsan Valley. When you enter Achagol from Suhang-ri, Jinbu-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, at the corner where the water stream originating from Odaesan Mountain passes through Cheopcheop Canyon and joins the Namhan River, the Chilseongdae of Parkjisan Mountain, 1,394 meters above sea level, glimmers before your eyes. It is a place where you can see an ecologically healthy and strong forest with wild animals such as badgers, raccoons, wild boars, and hares, as well as countless medicinal herbs, such as birch trees, pine trees, and cypress trees, and moss, whose name is unknown as ground cover, like a carpet.
