The vegetation of Bangtaesan Mountain is mostly natural broad-leaved forest land, and there are also some artificial plantations. The main peaks, Guryongdeokbong (1,388m above sea level) and Jueokbong (1,443m above sea level) valleys, are the origins and form the main water system of this recreation forest, so the water volume is abundant. In particular, Madangbawi Rock (a rock that is flat and wide like a yard) and the two-stage waterfall can be said to be spectacular. There are a variety of tree species such as pine trees, birch trees, pine trees, and oak trees, so the natural scenery is beautiful with greenery, autumn leaves, and snow scenes depending on the season, as well as fish such as red-necked fish, catfish, and catfish, and wild animals such as wild boars, rabbits, pheasants, roe deer, and squirrels. They also inhabit a variety of species.
