It is a hot spring located in the north of Donghae-si, Gangwon-do, at the foot of Mangunsan Mountain. It is a 12-minute drive from Mukho Station on the Yeongdong Line and KTX, and about a 5-minute drive from Mangsang Station on the Yeongdong Line. The hot spring located in the senior welfare facility of the same name is managed jointly by Donghae Spring Water Co., Ltd. and the facility to ensure clean water quality. The hot spring here, also called ‘Donghae Yakcheon Hot Springs’, is a sodium bicarbonate spring with a temperature of 26.5℃. Hot springs rich in sodium, calcium, and magnesium contain a large amount of minerals with good healing effects. There are six types of hot springs. Hot, boiling, and cold baths are the basics, and there is also a deep sea water bath, red clay bath, and underwater massage bath, so you can relieve the fatigue accumulated in your body by visiting various hot springs. The deep sea water bath draws from the clear seawater of the East Sea, and the red clay bath is helpful for blood circulation and skin care. There are four saunas in total, including the jade sauna, amethyst sauna, salt sauna, and red clay sauna, which help you sweat and remove waste from your body. The outdoor hot spring pool, open in the summer, is popular with families as they can enjoy hot springs and water play together. Mangsang Beach, Mangsang Auto Camping Resort & Mangsang Beach Hanok Village can be reached within 10 minutes by car from the hot spring.
