晋州南江ユドゥン祭りは、壬辰倭乱（1592年～1598年）の晋州城の戦いの際、日本軍の南江渡河を阻止する軍事戦略として使われた灯篭流しに由来します。祭りのハイライトは、南江（ナムガン）での灯籠流しと、地元の学生たちが手作りした灯籠行列です。また、花火大会や水上ライトアップショー、文化パフォーマンスなど、さまざまなイベントやプログラムが開催されます。
