금산세계인삼축제는 우리나라 최대 인삼 산지인 금산군에서 1981년부터 매년 개최되고 있다. 내용과 규모가 모두 성장한 이 축제는 1996년 문화관광체육부의 문화관광축제로 선정되어 국가축제로 자리 잡았다. 축제의 인기가 높아지면서 금산인삼의 놀라운 효능이 전국적으로 알려지면서 국내외 관광객이 매년 늘어나고 있다.
