영동은 조선 국악의 대가 박연의 고향으로 한국 전통음악의 중심지로 꼽힌다. 해마다 박씨 난계의 이름을 딴 영동난계국악축제가 이 지역에서 열린다. 영동난계국악축제는 국악을 중심으로 한 다양한 전시와 체험 프로그램 외에도 어가행렬, 종묘제례 등 전통음악 공연 등 다양한 행사를 진행하며 전통악기 제작 및 연주 등을 통해 직접 체험해 볼 수 있는 기회를 제공한다. 국악을 통해 연결됩니다. 또한, 영동와인페스티벌도 동시에 개최됩니다.
