釜山海洋節於1996年首次舉辦，旨在宣傳釜山作為一個美麗的港口城市。節慶在海雲台海水浴場、廣安里海水浴場、松島海水浴場、多大浦海水浴場、松亭海水浴場等釜山其他地方舉行。該節日提供各種文化活動和獨特的實踐項目。作為韓國首個綜合海洋節，它上演了許多令人興奮的節目，包括盛大的開幕式、文化表演和其他特別活動。共有5個海灘舉辦此活動，每個海灘都有適合各年齡層的不同節目和表演。
