이효석문화마을은 한국의 아름다운 설화 '메밀꽃 필 무렵'의 배경이자 작가 이효석(가산) 선생의 집이다. 1990년 문화관광부로부터 국가문화마을 제1호로 등록된 이 마을은 매년 가을이면 효석문화제가 열리는 곳이다. 이효석 생가와 물레방앗간, 초가집, 가산공원, 이효석 기념관, 메밀음식 식당 등으로 이루어져 있다.
