昭陽湖は1973年昭陽ダムの建設によって誕生しました。昭陽湖はマス、コイ、ワカサギ、ウナギなどの淡水魚が獲れることで有名です。水路は麟蹄まで伸びており、美しい景色を眺めることができます。昭陽ダム近くの波止場からウォーター スポーツを楽しんだり、ボートで清平寺や湖の周りを楽しんだりできます。湖の周りにはカフェやレストランがたくさんあり、休暇を過ごすのに最適な場所です。
