この飛行場は第二次世界大戦中、日本軍の強制下で済州道住民によって建設された。訪問者は、敷地内の飛行場、管制塔、高射砲座、格納庫を探索できます。飛行場に近い松岳山の近くにある4.3史跡と鎮池洞には、日本軍の遺物と韓国近代史の悲劇的な遺物が残っている。
