富平海鮮湯街的歷史始於30-40年前，當時街上只有3家餐廳。多年來，這條街以美味的海鮮湯而聞名，現在街上有十家海鮮餐廳。每家餐廳都提供豐盛但風味截然不同的海鮮燉菜，採用芳香蔬菜和每天早上從市場購買的新鮮海鮮烹製而成。解暑堂街變得如此受歡迎，以至於許多人從首爾長途跋涉，只為了吃一頓令人滿意的海鮮燉菜。餐廳主打燉菜和蒸海鮮菜餚，但也不斷開發新的融合菜單，以滿足所有味蕾。
