中美山休养林位于著名的农达志高路（首尔附近最高的山脊道路）的美丽车程的尽头。森林拥有茂密的树林和俯瞰南汉江的壮丽景色。有些早晨，森林里的小木屋被浓雾笼罩，进一步增添了美丽的自然氛围。中美山海拔 834 米，是著名的日出胜地，每年都有成群的徒步旅行者经常光顾。从春天到秋天，茂密的松树林形成了树枝的屋顶。中美山虽然靠近首尔，但被白云山、有明山、龙门山等高山所包围，感觉就像是在江原道的内山区。森林里有可容纳 4 至 10 人的小木屋，以及与周围自然环境相得益彰的露营地。游客可以沿着蜿蜒穿过森林中心的小径，在树林中舒适地漫步。
