ユミョンサン国立休養林は、主な渓谷の山の入り口近くにあります。柳明山は標高が比較的低いにもかかわらず、急峻な渓谷と緑豊かな森林に恵まれており、雪岳山の天仏洞渓谷に似ています。このレクリエーション公園には、山の小川や独特の岩に沿った、よく管理されたハイキング コースもあります。園内にはオートキャンプ場やキャビン、屋外運動器具などの宿泊・レジャー施設が整備されています。
