雲嶽山海拔934.7公尺。奇形怪狀的岩石和山峰讓景觀顯得格外美麗。山上可以看到後高句麗時期的歷史遺跡，包括宮冶（短命的後高句麗國家的第一位國王）的堡壘遺址。雄偉的山峰環繞著主峰萬景台，闊葉樹林在秋天呈現出引人注目的色彩。
四月中旬的紫玉蘭、五月的杜鵑花和山玉蘭，步道都很美麗。雲嶽山紅葉節於每年十月中旬樹葉開始變黃時舉行。雲嶽山與冠嶽山、雉嶽山、花嶽山、松嶽山一起，被列為中部地區最險峻的五座山之一，也是人氣最高的山峰之一。 |
