坡州の長陵には、朝鮮王朝第 16 代統治者である仁祖大王 (1595 ～ 1649、在位 1623 ～ 1649) と仁烈王后の陵墓があります。
仁祖王は、軍事反乱で前国王の光海君を打倒した後、1623年に王位に就きました。仁祖は治世中、1627 年と 1637 年の 2 度の外国からの侵略という困難に直面しました。仁祖は 1649 年に昌徳宮で亡くなりました。 |
