全羅北道南原市にある智異山国立公園の北部にある約3キロメートルの渓谷「九龍渓谷」は、奇岩と断崖絶壁のパノラマを楽しめる場所だ。谷の頂上にある九龍瀑浦滝の下には「龍池」（龍池という意味）と呼ばれる小さな池があります。伝説によると、龍が昇天する前にここに住んでいたそうです。智異山の観光道路を延長したスカイウェイに沿ってドライブして渓谷を観光したり、渓谷に沿ってペムサゴル渓谷(盤山)と老古壇まで伸びる正寧知岸ルートを利用して爽快な山登りを楽しむこともできます。
