烏花亭の名前は、かつてこの亭に翼が生えて天に昇ったという伝説に由来しています。パビリオンは内蔵山観光案内所に向かう途中の湖の真ん中にあります。パビリオンと紅葉が湖に映る景色はまるで絵画のようです。パビリオンを囲むさまざまな花、木、葦、葉がより美しい景色を作り出します。
