百済王朝の武王の治世 (632 年) に創建された白羊寺は、内蔵山国立公園内にあります。両側の山と渓谷が組み合わさって美しい景色を作り出しています。ここでは、四季を通じて自然がその美しさを見せてくれますが、特に秋の赤いカエデの葉を通してその美しさを見せてくれます。大雄殿、興楽報殿、泗天王門は文化財に指定されている。白樫や楓の木が並ぶ木道を歩き、白羊寺の入口を抜けると双渓楼が見えてきます。白羊寺を訪れる日中は、きらめく池に面した双渓楼の息をのむような景色を眺めることができます。
