경상북도 빙계계곡은 여름에는 시원한 바람, 겨울에는 뜨거운 증기를 내뿜는 얼음구멍과 바람구멍이 있어 1987년 9월 군립공원으로 지정됐다. 계곡에는 높이 8.15m의 고려 전기 오층석탑과 높이 10m, 폭 20m의 큰 바위도 있다.
