普信閣鐘樓在朝鮮王朝時期被用來計時。凌晨4點鐘聲會敲響33響，標誌著一天的開始和城門的打開。晚上10點，28點鐘聲響起，大門將關閉過夜。該鐘最初於1468 年（世祖王13 年）安裝在圓覺寺，但在1619 年被移至現址。家準確確定年代。國寶二號鐘的原件現保存於韓國國立中央博物館。
鐘路區的遊客和當地人都可以透過每天（週一除外）從 11:20 開始的一小時的敲鐘儀式來體驗活生生的歷史。此外，普信閣鐘樓也是12月31日韓國獨有的「落球儀式」的舉辦地點。 |
