충청남도 보령시 보령 은행나무 마을에는 은행나무가 가득하다. 청라은행마을, 녹색농촌체험마을이라고도 합니다.
마을에 들어서자마자 벽화를 볼 수 있는데, 특히 가을에는 눈부신 노란색으로 물드는 은행나무가 마을 곳곳을 더욱 돋보이게 합니다. 1991년 문을 닫은 장현초등학교를 장터와 지역체험장으로 활용하고 있다. 은행잎으로 모자이크 만들기, 은행잎을 흔들고 모으기 등 상설 체험 프로그램과 계절별 시골 활동도 가능합니다. |
