法住寺建于新罗真兴王14年（553年），位于俗离山。然而，许多原来的建筑在临津战争（1592-1598 年）期间被毁，目前的建筑于 1624 年重建。寺庙以主殿大雄宝殿为中心，拥有许多美丽而重要的佛教文物和艺术品。
