사적 제103호로 지정된 부안 구암리 고인돌은 남방형 고인돌로 이루어져 있다. 고인돌은 청동기시대에 만들어진 무덤의 특별한 구조를 말한다. 고인돌은 크게 두 가지로 분류된다. 하나는 큰 윗돌을 받치고 있는 작은 기석이 있는 남형식과 고인돌이 작은 형태의 고인돌이다. 그리고 북부형은
책상 모양. 구암리에는 원래 13개의 고인돌이 있었으나 현재는 10개만 남아 있다. 최대 고인돌은 하나의 큰 꼭대기 돌을 지탱하는 8개의 작은 주춧돌로 이루어져 있습니다. 다른 지역의 고인돌은 일반적으로 4개의 주춧돌을 가지고 있습니다. |
