直到1960年代初期，人们都会从纛岛渡轮码头渡过汉江到达清潭洞。尽管高度发达，清潭公园仍然是一片令人舒缓的天然绿洲，相对不受城市污染的影响。沿着小路，有一个小型运动区和游乐场。早上公园里很热闹，人们在锻炼身体。公园内茂密的树木提供了一个享受新鲜空气的休息场所。公园面积59347平方米。
