弘法寺は釜山市金井洞洞に位置し、高さ 21 メートルの韓国最大の青銅製阿弥陀如来像で知られています。鉄馬山と金井山に囲まれ、水龍江まで続く美しい風景は、まるで蓮の花が咲き誇る仏教の理想世界である蓮華荘にいるような気分にさせてくれます。
寺院には瞑想を実践するためのトレーニングルームがあり、韓国とインドの国交樹立40周年を記念してインド政府から寄贈されたガンジーの胸像もあります。巨大な仏像、インド文化会館、積名宝宮、美しい庭園など、韓国の他の寺院では見られない見どころが豊富で、年々観光客が増えています。 |
