灰鹭繁殖场位于忠清北道镇川市绿谷村后面。候鸟栖息在1000年树龄的银杏树上。然而，随着时间的推移，由于鸟粪导致树木开始腐烂，导致鸟儿失去了主要巢穴。随后，鸟类开始在周围的灌木丛和森林中定居。为了保护栖息地并鼓励灰鹭繁殖，该地区被指定为天然纪念物。
