法住寺は新羅真興王 14 年 553 年に建てられ、松離山に位置しています。しかし、元の建物の多くは壬辰倭乱(1592年～1598年)で破壊され、現在の建物は1624年に再建されたものです。この寺院には、本堂である大雄宝殿を中心に、美しく重要な仏教遺物や美術品が数多く収蔵されています。
